Donnafugata Polena - Catarratto, Voignier

Fresh lemon lightness with hints of green herbs on the nose. The palate moves more into a crisp bitter lemon/lime direction with a nice mellow acidity.
Viognier is harvested in August while the Catarratto is harvested in September.  The grapes are subjected to soft pressing. The juice is fermented at a controlled temperature and the wine is released onto the market after fining and three months in the bottle.
