The wine is fermented in steel tanks to keep the body of the wine lighter and to maintain the red fruit character of the wine, but a percentage of the wine is aged in small oak barrels to bring out the spciy clove character.
Pale ruby colour. Sweet spicy aromas, lots of clove and a bit of cherry on the nose. On the palate it is a very earthy and rich wine, and shows more of the clove, and some ripe red cherries. The wine has smooth tannins, and a balanced acidity.
